Brampton Knit & Knatter Group
Brampton Knit & Knatter Group are delighted to announce that we will meeting in person again at Brampton Community Centre every Wednesday morning, starting on 8th September and they would love to welcome new members!
The Knit & Knatter sessions run from 9.30am until 12noon every Wednesday morning and costs £2.50, which includes a drink and a biscuit.
You can bring your own knitting, crochet or sewing project,, or you can help make items for various charities with their group wool supplies.
They are a friendly, sociable group with varying levels of skill – there is always someone to help you out if you are a novice!
They also accept donations of wool, however big or small – it can always be recycled into something useful or loveable.
The Brampton Knit & Knatter Group members were certainly not idle during the lockdowns. They kept in touch via email newsletters and WhatsApp, sharing pictures of items they were making for charity or for friends and family – everything from baby hats and toy rabbits to winter jackets and bedspreads!
