Brampton & District 50+ Forum

A space for older voices, friendship, and community
The Brampton & District 50+ Forum was founded in 2005 by local volunteers to provide people aged 50 and over with a space to meet, share experiences, and have their voices heard. Over two decades, the Forum became a valued part of community life in and around Brampton, offering regular talks, practical information, and friendly social connection.
In 2025, following the retirement of its volunteer committee, the Forum’s members agreed that its work should continue under the stewardship of Brampton & Beyond Community Trust. We are proud to honour that legacy by hosting quarterly 50+ Forum gatherings at Brampton Community Centre.
Each Forum meeting includes:
-
A free talk or presentation by a local service, speaker, or organisation
-
The chance to share your views and learn more about what’s happening in the area
-
Time to chat with others and, an optional simple lunch or refreshments (a small charge may apply for lunch)
The Forum is open to anyone aged 50 and over. If you would like to join the 50+ Forum and be kept up to date regarding meetings, then please either let a member of the Reception team know, or email admin@bramptoncc.org.uk
If you would like to suggest a topic for discussion, or if you represent a service or organisation and think you would make a good guest speaker, we would love to hear from you.
